Terms
Terms of use
Plain-language terms for participating in santodaime.app. By creating an account you accept these.
Nature of this directory
santodaime.app is a community-submitted, informational directory only. A listing is not an endorsement, a recommendation, or a statement about the legality of any center's activities in any country. A badge such as "Confirmed exists" only means that the place appears to exist; "Managed by the center" only means that a person verified by our team manages the profile. Nothing on this site offers, sells, arranges or facilitates the acquisition, distribution or consumption of any substance. Visitors are solely responsible for knowing and respecting the laws of the place where they live and travel.
No warranty and limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, including accuracy, completeness or availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the volunteer maintainers are not liable for the actions, practices or safety of any listed center, for content posted by users, or for any decision made on the basis of information found here. Users are responsible for what they submit and agree to hold the maintainers harmless from claims arising from their own content.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post (descriptions, photos, posts, reviews). By posting, you give santodaime.app a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display it on the site for as long as it remains published. You confirm you have the right to post it and that it does not expose anyone's private information. The maintainers may edit, hide or remove any content or listing at their discretion, in particular to protect privacy or safety.
Age
You must be of legal age in your country (and at least 18) to create an account.
Reports and takedowns
Anyone can report a listing from its page or write to santodaimemap@protonmail.com. We acknowledge reports within 7 days and act on or answer them within 30 days. Requests from a center to be hidden or removed are always honoured.
Community-run, user-published
santodaime.app is a community project. Most content — center listings, profiles, hinários, recordings — is published by users like you. We moderate, but we do not pre-approve every word.
Your responsibility for what you publish
You are responsible for the information you choose to publish about yourself or about a center. Do not publish personal data about other people without their consent. Do not publish exact addresses of private homes without the host's explicit permission.
Our limited liability
We cannot be held liable for information that users choose to publish on the platform. That said, if you spot a problem — your own data exposed, or someone else's — write to us and we will help correct or remove it as quickly as we can.
Acceptable use
No spam, no harassment, no commercial advertising, no impersonation of centers or padrinhos. Moderators may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
Takedown requests
If you are the subject of a listing or claim and want it removed or corrected, DM us on Instagram at @santodaimemap with enough context for us to act. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes
If we change these terms in a material way, we will note it at the top of this page and, when possible, let signed-in users know.
